Crossfit for Hope - Need donations!
Going to be participating in Crossfit for Hope on June 23rd at my local box. All donations go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 5/30/12 WOD
Woot-Woot! It was good to be back at CrossFit today!  Had some medical stuff going on and the box was closed for Memorial Day, so you know, I was having withdrawals. I know I'm addicted to Crossfit...
Because I got so dang excited about a rep from RX Jump Ropes coming to our box tonight to sell and fit jump ropes.  LOL, yep, I was literally jumping up and down in excitement of buying a jump rope.  What can I say? The Kool-Aid has been drunk and I’m getting an awesome rope to practice getting double unders down. The question is… should I go for girly pink camo? or misFit mango?

Memorial Day Murph
So one of the things I love about CrossFit is its ties to the military.  Most of our benchmark WOD’s are named for fallen soldiers.  They are hard workouts for the sole purpose that when you’re doing them and you don’t think you can do more, you take a moment to think about that person and what they had to do and their sacrifice for our country.  I think this appeals to me even...

5/21/12 WOD
I’m actually excited for tomorrow’s WOD after today! For our strength section we practiced the moves for the Bear Complex which will be what we do tomorrow.  Mostly we practiced form with the PVC pipe and then moved to a barbell and learned to link all the moves together.
