The theme today is “Get After It”! It was honestly not so bad today, which makes me worried that later this week will be a Hero WOD or something, LOL.
- 3 RM Front Squat (3 second hold at bottom)
- 3 RM Strict Press (3 second hold at top)
- We worked both moves for 15 minutes each
I just used 35 pounds for each move since we were doing the holds and did 5 sets of 3.

For this WOD they asked us to step down in the wallball weight in order to keep the intensity up AND we had to setup a wallball on the ground and actually squat and touch it or we were no-repped. We were also told if we hit 150 before 5 minutes were up we could stop. LOL, such jokers as no one on the board all day came even close. I did see a 130 on the board from an earlier class.
I missed a couple reps due to not going low enough in my squat to touch the ball on the floor - dang it! So instead of my normal 10 pound wallball I used a 5 pound one. The hubby was my partner tonight and counted and called out no-rep when needed. In the end 5 minutes was freakin’ tiring but I did 90 of them! woot-woot!
Honestly I wanted to go another 10 minutes and get to 150, LOL.
