I love when the benchmark WOD’s come around as it’s the best indicator of how you’re progressing.  I don’t like to look at my previous score before the workout like some people do, but instead I just focus and work hard and hope I beat my last time.

Tonight we did about 30 minutes of mobility work, which was awesome, followed by CINDY!

  • WOD: CINDY
  • 20 minute AMRAP (as many rounds as possible)
  • 5 pull-ups
  • 10 push-ups
  • 15 squats

I just paced myself, did all my pull-ups unbroken.  This is the first time ever, so I know for a fact that my upper body is getting stronger.  My push-ups I broke into 2 sets of 5, which lasted about half my rounds before I got too tired and was doing them in sets of 3 or 2.  Squats! I can just do them all day long, perfect proper form and all because I just zen out in my mind while I’m doing them. It’s honestly a break and time of rest compared to the other 2 moves.

So that brings me to my score!  

  • 10 rounds plus 15 

Last time we did Cindy was on 7/6/12 and my score was

  • 9 rounds plus 2

Woot-Woot! new personal record!! A full round and a half better this time!  Love it!
