So I missed listing some workouts from last week as it’s been a little crazy and I’m leaving on vacation tomorrow. I do have 3 travel WOD’s to complete during the next week! So that should be fun to do in Orlando in the 90% humidity!
- Front Squats
- 3x3 with 5 second hold at the bottom
- 5 sets with 1 minute break between
- “Fast Fran”
- 7 minute cap
- thrusters (I used a 25 pound barbell)
My time was 6:57 —- Woot!Woot! Made it just in the nick of time. If you went over the 7 minute mark there was some kind of penalty like 20 burpees or something. Hell no I was NOT going to get stuck doing that!
Then as we’re catching our breath and drinking some water and marking our scores down we’re told there’s a “Mystery Finisher”. Dang it! Okay coach, come at me with it. It is….. a 1 mile run…. ugh…. ugh…. y’all know how I feel about running. But I did it with only minor complaints. Well I only asked what other options there were, LOL. Coach said I could row instead. Yeah, no thanks, I’ll suck it up and run. I did good though and never stopped to walk! Proud of myself for that!
